Undefeated Cont.

A lot of the children who participate come from single-parent homes, or homes where both parents work multiple jobs, or are even being raised by other family members. Some of these children have, at times, expressed feelings of loneliness, isolation, unworthiness, anxiety, and fear in their family units. It is vital that these children receive validation and have an opportunity to talk with someone that they trust and begin feeling valued, trusted, and cared for. There are over 30 volunteers that work every week to make sure that each child leaves with an encouraging word.

At Undefeated, there are three things that every child will experience in our care:
  • an applicable biblical lesson
  • every child will eat a meal
  • each child will receive positive affirmations from an adult
